These Fire extinguishing systems utilizes the extinguishing agent NovecTM 1230 a product of 3M or FM 200(HFC 227ea) a product of DuPont. The agent is stored as a liquid in steel containers which are super pressurized with Nitrogen. The extinguishing agent is released into the area under protection on detection of a fire through an open nozzle where it vaporizes and suppresses the fire by cooling the area. Triggering of the system is supported by fire detection system.
