Kitchen hood fire suppression system is an automatic fire fighting system which is using special fire fighting agent (specially designed for food service) and automatically release cylinder charge in case of fire, controlled by flame detector. The agent is sprayed through nozzles above the equipments forming a layer above fire to prevent contact with oxygen in addition to the cooling effect because of agent water content. In fact, this system is an essential system for any cooking hood especially when hood is serving fat fryers. Installation of fire suppression system in commercial kitchen hoods is governed by international regulations & local Civil Defense regulations all over the world. System capacity is designed according to hood & cooking line size.
